Class Descriptions
Power Flow: A powerful, dynamic yoga flow designed to challenge intermediate to advanced yogis, but also be somewhat accessible to beginners. We will not practice impossible poses, but rather use basic/intermediate poses in a way that allows the practitioner to feel challenged and tap into their intrinsic strength. We will build our physical practice around our breath — slowly and intentionally.
This class typically includes a slower portion in the beginning, focused more on alignment... and then a slightly faster breath-to-movement flow as well. We work on developing our STABILITY as well as MOBILITY at the same time. Come prepared for strengthening, stretching, and balancing.
Restore: This class focuses on poses that promote relaxation, restoration and rejuvenation. Restorative poses help relieve the effects of chronic stress, including weakness and fatigue brought on by our daily fast paced activities. Each restorative sequence is designed to move the spine in all directions by practicing gentle backbends, forward folds, twists and inversions using props allowing for deep relaxation. Several poses are set up using props as support, and then held for 5-7 minutes. This is a good practice for the mind as well.
Core/Restore: The best of both worlds! Half Power/ Half Restore.
Deep Power: Some might say this is a "slow burn"... a strong power class without the need for speed. This class is a slow yet powerful flow intended to bring you deeper into each posture, rather than just moving through like in some vinyasa style classes. We will move with intention and attention rather than momentum, paying attention to even the smallest micro-adjustments that change the posture from the inside, allowing the practitioner to relax into a deeper, fuller, more aligned expression of their pose.
This class is approachable for beginners but will also be challenging enough for seasoned practitioners. Modifications will be given and are always welcome!
Chill Vibes Power Flow: Just a little less intense than my other Power classes and only 60 minutes long. We still breathe, flow, move the same way we do in Power Flow, just a little slower and more CHILL! This class is set to music and I use my galaxy projectors on the ceiling to create an experience that takes you out of this world!
Soundbath: A soundbath is a full-body immersive, meditative experience using the vibrations and resonance of SOUND! Katie uses her very special alchemy bowls along with various percussion tools to “bathe” the practitioners in healing sound waves as they simply relax and go deeper into their own inner-space. It is said that a soundbath can help reduce stress, calm the nervous system, and clear energetic blockages in the chakras. No previous experience is necessary and all are welcome!
Breathwork: An experiential journey into your felt senses using the power of your BREATH. Set to loud music, a breathwork session is intended to help the practitioner hold, somatically process, and express stuck energy and emotions in the body. There will be invitations to scream, cry, laugh, shake, etc. Oftentimes practitioners will gain life changing insights and have transformative expereinces in just one session. Every breathwork journey is different for every person, every time.

In case you were wondering… YES! MOSAIC & THE LOCAL CO-OP are the same place.
The Local Co-Op is a healing arts co-operative; a vibrant community hub hosting offerings led by a dynamic circle of healers, teachers, and spaceholders.
Mosaic Yoga is a group of yoga instructors who have been working together for 15+ years. They sublet the space out, and teach donation-based classes, open to the public.
Monthly Breathwork Offerings
FREQUENCY:
1st Saturday of each month
7pm @ The Local Co-Op
"FREQUENCY" is a breath practice that is done lying on the ground with eyes closed. We breathe the same type of breath for almost an hour straight which takes you into an altered state of consciousness in which you are able to feel & process traumas, emotions, and energy that has been stored in the body.
Cost is $30 per person
EMBODIMENT:
3rd Saturday of each month
7pm @ The Local Co-op
“EMBODIMENT” combines Yoga, Breathwork, and Sound.
A typical EMBODIMENT class would look something like this:
— Yoga/Movement for the first 40ish minutes
— Breathwork for around 30 minute
— Soundbath for the last 20 minutes
The last Tuesday evening of each month we offer a FREE online class for anyone and everyone who would like to join! This class is guided by Trish & one of our recent Breathwork Training graduates. This is a great way to try Breathwork in the comfort and convenience of your own home.
